Results of the 2025 call for ESFUF production support

The jury of the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films, composed of 7 experts from the European film industry, gathered on November 19, 2025, to select the beneficiaries of the production support scheme. For this round, a total of 60 projects, which applied to the ESFUF  call in June, were examined by the jury.

13 projects were supported and received a total amount of 1 525 000 €. Among the supported projects are 6 fiction films, 6 documentaries and 1 animation project.

The supported projects are the following:

Amount of the support: 60 000 €

These 13 films, co-produced between Ukraine and 8 different contributing countries, will join the list of ESFUF-supported films.

70 ESFUF grants have already been attributed to 55 projects, including 21 grants for production support. The total grants attributed since the launch of the fund in 2023 amount to 4.3 million euros.

Thanks to these grants, several projects are already completed and have circulated in festivals across Europe and beyond, as shown in the video below. 17 ESFUF films have already begun their festival journey. The most recent example is Silent Flood by Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk, which received the IDFA award for Best Cinematography in November.
