SYNOPSIS
The hero of the film is the world-famous Ukrainian documentary photographer Oleksander Glyadyelov, whose work has been attracting fans for many years at exhibitions in Switzerland, Poland, the USA, Lithuania, France, Germany, and many other countries around the world. Oleksander has been engaged in documentary photography for more than 30 years. Thus, his photos capture the entire recent history of Ukraine and significant events of this period around the country.

THE DIRECTOR
Oksana Kravtsova was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in 1980. She first studied painting before studying directing at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. She is a founder & head of Real Stories Production – a production company for documentary films – as well as of the Ada Rybachuk and Volodymyr Melnichenko Cultural Heritage Conservation Fund. She directed several documentaries such as Lifer (2018) – awarded at the Docutah Festival (Utah, USA) and at the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards – The Job (2018) — awarded at the Prague Film Awards and at the Bardak Kharkiv Film Festival – and The Whisper Of The Steps (2019) – awarded Best Documentary at the Bobrytsia International Film Festival. She also worked on animated series such as Those Who Are Still There (2021), and on short movies on human rights, such as Combating domestic violence and Civil partnerships.
