ESFUF: FIRST RESULTS ANNOUNCED IN CANNES

After the launch of the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films in Berlin last February, the results of the first call will be announced on Sunday 21 May at 4pm during the Cannes Film Festival. The event will be accessible by invitation only.
The projects were selected by the ESFUF jury, composed of 7 experts of the European film industry:

  • Marianne Slot, producer, France, president of the jury
  • Simone Baumann, producer, Germany
  • Dariusz Jablonski, director and producer, Poland
  • Timon Koulmasis, director, Greece
  • Ilmar Raag, director, Estonia
  • Ineke Smits, director, Netherlands
  • Audrius Stonys, director, Lithuania

A second event, “Ukraine in Focus Pitching Session” will be organized on Monday 22 May at the Cannes Film Festival. This event will be the occasion to present ten Ukrainian feature film projects in development to potential co-producers and financiers (more info here). It is organized in partnership with ESFUF, CNC, EFAD, Göteborg Film Fund, Institut Français, LIM | Less is More, Movies that Matter, Tatino Films and Ukrainian Institute.
