SYNOPSIS
Ukrainian Scary Fairy Tales is an animation fantasy almanac for children that consists of five stories inspired by traditional Ukrainian fairy tales and dedicated to basic human fears.

THE DIRECTORS
Anatoliy Lavrenishyn has graduated from Karpenko-Kariy University. With his works, he participated in the festivals in Clermont-Ferrand, Rotterdam, and Annecy. His feature animated film VIKTOR_ROBOT received the Audience Award at the Odesa Film Festival and the Best Animation Award at the Kyiv Film Critics’ Week in 2021.
Olha Havrylova is a screenwriter, illustrator and director of animated films. Her latest work The ‘War that Changed Rondo’ won the best film at Kinosaray film Festival.
Anna Dudko is a Ukrainian director of animation, screenwriter, and animator. Her last short film ‘Deep Water’ won Ukrainian Film Academy Award for the Best Short animation film 2022.
Stas Santimov is director, animator and gif-artist. His recent series ‘Spooky Loops’ is project of ultra-short horror films.
Marya Yanko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. She studied academic oil painting in Ukraine and animated filmmaking in France.
