The documentary film by Ksenia Kravtsova about renowned Ukrainian photographer Oleksandr Glyadyelov premiered at the 15th Odesa International Film Festival.

Written by Inokentii Vyrovyi and directed by Ksenia Kravtsova, this black-and-white documentary follows Oleksandr Glyadyelov, telling his story and, at the same time, the history of Ukraine, from the 1990s to the full-scale invasion, which the photographer documented.

The film, co-produced between Ukrainian companies Real Stories Production and DIM Filmhouse and Lithuanian company Broom Films, was among the first to receive ESFUF finalisation support in May 2023.

The 15th Odesa International Film Festival was held in Kyiv form the 12th to the 20th of July: alongside Glyadyelov, 9 other Ukrainian feature films were part of the National Competition program. The Festival also includes many other selections, including the European Competition, the “Festival of Festivals” selection, the Gala Premieres and other thematic programs.
