SYNOPSIS
Bob, a cameraman, arrives at a closed secret facility. He is tasked with creating a film praising the security agencies, which reform the “tangled people” working at this power plant. Bob meets Alice, an actress whom he had previously filmed in movies, and discovers she is monitored by a warden, present day and night in her wall-less room to ensure visual monitoring. Gradually, Bob learns what is being done to people like Alice, and films the hidden side of this plant secretly.

THE DIRECTOR
Ivan Orlenko is a Ukrainian film director and scriptwriter. Ivan has also worked as a theater director in the theaters of Germany, Hungary, Serbia, Ukraine. His first short film Playground was selected by European Short Pitch in 2015. His second short film In our synagogue is a first Ukrainian fiction film in Yiddish language (World premiere – Tampere Film Festival 2019). The film has won a number of awards including FIPRESCI award of Odesa International Film Festival. Ivan is currently working on his debut feature film.
