Results of the 2024 call for ESFUF development support

The jury of the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films, composed of 7 experts from the European film industry, gathered on July 16th, 2024 to select the beneficiaries of the development support scheme. For this round, a total of 75 projects were examined by the jury.

12 projects were supported for a total amount of 239 500 €. Among the supported projects are 5 fiction films, 5 documentaries and 2 animation projects.

The supported projects are the following:

Details about the next 2024 ESFUF call for projects and its scope will be announced in the fall.

The documentary “Song of slow burning earth” by Olha Zhurba, supported by the fund in finalisation last December, will be presented in the official selection out of competition at the forthcoming Venice Film Festival.
